A fitness education group in California has set a new Guinness World Record by organizing a game of “Red Light, Green Light” with 1,423 participants.
CF Fitness Inc., an organization focused on promoting physical fitness in schools, brought together students from the Anaheim Elementary School District, along with their families, to play the game at Yorba Park in Anaheim.
The event also saw participation from students from other districts, local firefighters, police officers, and city officials. The group broke the previous record with 1,423 participants in total.
Guinness Records Adjudicator Brittany Dunn expressed her excitement about the achievement. “It was definitely an afternoon filled with lots of energy. I think my face hurt from smiling so much,” she said.
Dunn praised the enthusiasm of the children and noted that one of the older police officers joined in the fun, which brought joy to the kids. “It was a great reminder that even adults need play in their lives,” she added.
