The Kishkinda Moolika Bonsai Garden at Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Ashram in Mysuru has set a new Guinness World Record for the largest collection of bonsai trees in the world.
Founded in 2006, the garden has attracted visitors from across India and abroad for years. This achievement adds to the Ashram’s list of unique records and highlights the dedication of Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji to environmental conservation.
During the Vanadurga Puja, held from June 6 to 15, the garden displayed thousands of rare bonsais. These plants were brought from countries such as Taiwan, England, and Japan. The collection now totals 10,836 bonsai trees.
Guinness World Records representative Rishinath awarded the official certificate to Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda Swamiji at a ceremony held at the Ashram’s Nada Mantapa on Saturday.
