Akshar Yoga Kendraa is set to lead one of the largest global yoga events on June 21, 2025, marking the 11th International Yoga Day. The event will be held in Bengaluru and is expected to attract between 2,000 and 2,500 participants from over 30 countries. Organizers aim to break 12 Guinness World Records in a single day.
Participants will come from diverse backgrounds, including yoga practitioners, Indian defence personnel, corporate leaders, differently-abled individuals, children from orphanages, and NCC cadets. Countries represented include the USA, UK, Taiwan, Malaysia, Italy, and Dubai.
This gathering highlights yoga’s growing importance worldwide as a practice that promotes health, harmony, and inner transformation.
The event is guided by spiritual teacher and yoga expert Himalayan Siddhaa Akshar, who is known for his work in yoga education and wellness. He described the record-breaking attempt as a symbol of purposeful living. “Each record represents focus, inner strength, and the power of intention,” he said.
