To help guide consumers, the International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) has released its list of top-rated tequilas. This year, seven tequilas earned a prestigious Gold Outstanding Medal, placing them among the best in the world.
The IWSC is an annual global competition that receives entries from over 90 countries. All submissions are judged through blind tastings and scored out of 100 points. Spirits may be awarded Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Gold Outstanding medals, with no cap on the number of awards.
The seven tequilas selected each received a score of 98 or higher, earning them Gold Outstanding status and a place as finalists for the 2025 Tequila Trophy.
