Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, Nov. 6, 2024 /PRNewswire/ – Avèle is set to make history with the unveiling of the world’s “Largest dual-sided rotating puzzle cube mosaic image” in celebration of Rubik’s Cube’s 50th anniversary. The monumental event will take place at a red-carpet gala at Avèle Galerías de la Marina in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, and has been officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
Designed by acclaimed contemporary artist Mr. Brainwash, the mosaic will feature a vibrant, intricate design that celebrates the cultural significance of the Rubik’s Cube and the beauty of the Dominican Republic. With nearly 10,000 individual Rubik’s Cubes used in its construction, the double-sided mosaic will cover over 300 square feet, making it the largest of its kind ever created.
The event will bring together engineers, artists, designers, and professional “cubers” from around the world, all collaborating on this groundbreaking project. Guinness World Records representatives will be present at the event to formally certify the new world record.
The process of creating the mosaic, including the assembly of thousands of cubes and the artistic journey leading up to its completion, will be documented in a special film. The footage will offer viewers a unique behind-the-scenes look at the meticulous craftsmanship involved in constructing the massive mosaic.
