The Australian couple, known for their Instagram account G & Dan – Travel Adventure Creators, recently posted a guide to affordable travel destinations. In their video, they broke down the costs of their trips, from lodging to food, and highlighted their experiences in each place.
Guatemala tops their list, where the duo found accommodation for as low as \$15 (£7). Transportation was affordable, costing just \$5-10 (£2-5), while activities were priced at \$10 (£5), and meals ranged from \$3-6 (£1-3).
Next, they headed to Nicaragua, where lodging prices were slightly higher but still budget-friendly, ranging from \$12-18 (£6-9). Day-to-day costs remained low, with transportation costing \$4-8 (£2-4), activities priced at \$5-15 (£2-7), and food at \$2-5 (£1-2).
Morocco followed, where the couple found accommodation for \$15-20 (£7-10), and transportation costs ranged from \$6-12 (£3-6). Activities ranged from \$10-25 (£5-12), and food remained affordable at \$5-8 (£2-4).
In Colombia, the couple spent between \$13-22 (£6-11) on accommodation, with transport costing \$5-12 (£2-6), activities ranging from \$10-20 (£7-15), and food priced at \$4-6 (£3-4).
Turkey was another affordable destination, with accommodation at \$10-15 (£7-11), transport between \$6-10 (£4-7), activities ranging from \$10-20 (£5-10), and food at \$6-10 (£3-5).
Finally, Bolivia capped off their budget-friendly adventure. Accommodation was priced at \$10-15 (£5-7), while transport was an even cheaper \$3-5 (£1-2). Activities cost \$10-20 (£5-10), and meals were as low as \$1-3 (50p-£1).
Through their travels, Georgia and Dan show that it is possible to explore diverse countries without breaking the bank. These destinations provide affordable experiences without sacrificing the richness of cultural immersion.
